Proxy Switchboard (“the app”) is a per-destination network router for Android, iOS, and macOS. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. It is deliberately short because the app collects no personal data.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. We operate no servers that receive your data.
When you turn the proxy on, the app routes your network traffic according to the rules you configure, sending each connection either directly or through a proxy server that you specify and control. This processing happens entirely on your device. We do not see, inspect, log, store, or transmit your traffic or your browsing history. Any proxy servers you configure are operated by you or by third parties you choose; their handling of traffic is governed by their own policies, not this one.
To route by hostname, the app answers DNS queries locally on your device and maps names to internal placeholder addresses. These lookups are processed on-device and are not recorded off-device.
On Android the app can use the camera, only when you open the QR scanner, to import proxy configurations from QR codes. Frames are processed on-device and are never stored, recorded, or uploaded. The app works fully without camera access.
Purchases (for example, “Proxy Switchboard Pro”) are processed by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play. We do not receive your payment details. Their handling of purchase data is governed by Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies.
None. Because we collect no data, there is nothing to share with third parties, and we never sell data.
The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy at this URL.
