Terms of Service

Proxy Switchboard · Effective date: 15 June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of Proxy Switchboard (“the app”, “the software”), a per-destination network proxy router for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android, provided by Phil Trinh (“we”, “us”). By downloading, purchasing, or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The product

Proxy Switchboard is a premade, off-the-shelf software application. It is a client that routes your network traffic through proxy servers that you provide and control. We do not operate any proxy, VPN, or other servers that carry your traffic, and we do not offer consulting, custom-development, or bespoke services. What we sell is a license to use the software.

2. License

The app offers a free 45-day trial, fully featured. After the trial, continued use of the proxy requires a valid license:

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for personal or internal business use. You may move a desktop license between your own machines by removing it from one and activating it on another. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the app or license keys.

3. Acceptable use

You are solely responsible for how you use the app and for the proxy servers and destinations you configure. You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and the terms of any network or service you connect to. You must not use the app to infringe others’ rights, circumvent access controls you are not authorized to bypass, or engage in any unlawful activity.

4. Payments

Purchases of desktop licenses are processed by our reseller / merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy; mobile purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store your full payment details. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout by the payment processor. Prices are shown at the point of purchase and may change for future purchases.

5. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Updates and availability

We may release updates from time to time but are not obligated to provide any particular update, feature, or level of availability. Some features (for example TUN mode) are marked experimental and are provided on a best-effort basis.

7. Privacy

The app collects no personal data. Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that it will meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the app. We may terminate or suspend a license if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination you must stop using the app.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL with its effective date. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
